A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 200 PM EDT FOR NORTHEASTERN WAKE AND WEST CENTRAL FRANKLIN COUNTIES

At 130 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Wake Forest, or 13 miles northeast of Raleigh, moving northeast at 25 mph.

Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Wake and west central Franklin Counties, including the following locations... Rolesville and Youngsville.
