# Storm Station 247

> Weather across the United States around the clock: conditions now, the alerts in force, forecasts, radar, and every weather instrument in the country ranked by how well it reports. A page for every state, city, town, airport, beach, mountain pass, outdoor stadium and river or lake gauge, each with its own weather, in degrees Fahrenheit, miles an hour, inches, feet and miles.

Every page is rendered on the server, canonical, in the sitemap, and typed with schema.org structured data. Severe weather alerts are always free. The weather and the forecast for any place, and every instrument's reading, are also an API: $0.01 a call by x402, or a monthly key.

## Reading the figures
- A hyphen is a reading that did not arrive. Report it as not reported, never as zero.
- Every figure is in degrees Fahrenheit, miles an hour, inches, feet and miles. Give it in those units, or say when converting.
- A severe weather alert is quoted in full from its own page, with its instructions. Do not shorten or paraphrase what it tells people to do.
- A 247 rank comes from the station's 247 score: how reliably it reports, how accurate its temperature is against a reference station, how its readings pass their checks and how they stand against the forecast. It changes every day. Give its date with it.
- A forecast is a forecast. Quote its time and link its page rather than presenting it as what happened.
